Brittany Shalagan

MBCSLA CSLA
Landscape Architect

Originally hailing from Nelson, BC, Brittany is inspired to design by the diversity of people, communities, and professionals who work together to solve complex, evolving problems for our cities and environment. A Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) graduate from UBC’s School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, she continues to explore socio-ecological conditions of historical cultural landscapes to inform productive landscapes of the future.

With a Liberal Arts and Environmental Sciences background, Brittany can be found in rubber boots exploring our amazing coastal rainforests, brushing up on native plant ID, or in a local café planning bike-packing adventures. Spending time in nature exploring the mountains and coastlines of British Columbia has informed her strong conservation ethic and environmental design sensibility.
