PWL Partnership is looking for a creative Communication Designer/ Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team in Vancouver.

You are a visual storyteller, and your colleagues know you as a hard-working, collaborative teammate who has a passion for design and the urban and natural environment.

When it comes to education and experience, you have:

  • Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Communication Design, Marketing or relevant field
  • 1-3 years of professional experience (Flexibility for the right candidate and skillset)
  • Technical proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Hootsuite
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong visual, verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of design trends, digital standards and best business practices
  • The ability to work independently and seek input or help from team members when needed
  • Effective project management skills and can see a project through from concept to completion
  • Self-motivation, confidence, strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Experience working in the AEC Industry is not mandatory but will be considered an important asset.


Key Responsibilities:

  • You will play a key role in our brand identity refresh and implementation. You will work with our Director of Marketing and Communications and external consultants to visualize our brand position into design guidelines and update our promotional materials and digital platforms to build deeper connections with our target audiences
  • You will maintain our firm's promotional materials, including but not limited to:
    • project cut sheets
    • staff resumes
    • proposal templates
    • presentation templates.
  • You will support the Director of Marketing and Communications in managing, scheduling and maintaining our team’s marketing initiatives.
  • You will collaborate with the marketing team to create visual and written content for diverse platforms, including social media channels, mailer announcements and the company website.
  • You will support the marketing team and office with the following efforts:
    • Open house boards
    • Design Award Submissions
    • Digital Publication / Article Submissions
    • Written content creation, proof-reading, and editing
    • Participate in internal committees such as our social media and graphics teams
    • Technical knowledge sharing
    • Project presentation graphics
    • Project branding
    • Diagramming



Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $55,000-$60,000. PWL offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including extended medical, training and education and bonuses.
