Billing/Accounts Payable Coordinator
Application Deadline

PWL Partnership Landscape Architects Inc. is searching for a Billing/Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team. Operating in a project-based environment, the Billing/Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining our project database, preparing client invoices, and managing sub-consultant payments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely and accurate creation and delivery of project invoices to clients
  • Contract review to become familiar with clients' unique billing requirements
  • Gather and calculate project billing details, including sub-consultant invoice payments
  • Reconcile invoice discrepancies and provide exceptional service to both our clients and staff
  • Compile monthly trend analysis reporting for management review

Experience and Skills:

  • Must have 2+ years of experience in a similar position
  • A diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in project billing is an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel required)
  • Experience using Deltek Ajera software (or ability to learn)
  • Knowledge of contracts
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

The successful Billing/AP Coordinator will have 2+ years of experience in a similar position, with excellent time management and communication skills. Experience in an Architectural, Engineering or Construction environment is a strong asset.

You have a natural 'can do' attitude and are always willing to learn. You are personable and detail-oriented.

The salary range for this position is $58,000 to $62,000, which will be commensurate with experience. PWL Partnership offers an exciting, enjoyable work environment, a competitive benefits package, and bonuses.

Urban Designer 3-5 Years

PWL Partnership is looking for an Urban Designer with a passion for resilient community planning and large-scale mixed-use urban design projects, with demonstrated experience working within landscape architecture, architecture and/or urban design to join our growing team.


About You

You are a collaborative and communicative individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, and creative environment. You quickly interpret high-level urban design concepts and visualize them through live hand drawing in design charettes, collaborative workshops and through 3D modelling and visualization. You have experience working within multidisciplinary teams on large-scale urban design projects with a strong focus on resilient, climate adaptive, place-based design. 

You have a diverse design education with a degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and/or Planning and/or a commensurate level of training and education in a related field of study.

You have strong knowledge of:

  • Land use planning and mixed-use development.
  • Building/land use development codes, ordinances, etc., as they apply within various municipalities.
  • Awareness and understanding of current planning and urban design trends and principles.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, displayed through engaging story-telling, hand graphics and data visualization, including project narratives, diagrams and renderings.
  • Proficiency in the following programs:
    • Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
    • ArcGIS
    • 3D modelling software such as Rhino and Sketchup
    • Vectorworks, Revit and Lumion are considered an asset.

Landscape Designer / Landscape Architect 0-5 Years

PWL Partnership is looking for two Landscape Designers or Landscape Architects with a passion for technical detailing to join our team in Vancouver. In addition to project-related work, both roles have the potential to support internal training initiatives and best practices while informing company standards.


About You

You are a technical wiz who can easily take visionary drawings into construction details while tightrope walking coordination nuances. Your colleagues know you as a hard-working, collaborative teammate with a sharp eye for technical details.

You have a degree in Landscape Architecture, a diploma in Landscape Architectural Technology, OR a commensurate level of training and education in a related field of study. You are proficient in CAD software with the ability to learn additional programs quickly. Working knowledge of Vectorworks or Revit will be considered an asset.
